Dato’ Seri Raymond Liew Recognising Top Global Corporate Leadership
In an increasingly challenging global economic landscape, outstanding corporate leadership is all the more necessary for companies to navigate towards success.
It goes without saying that good leadership is a critical part of organisational health, which is a key driver of shareholder returns, according to research findings by global management consultancy McKinsey & Company.
Currently in its sixth year, the annual McMillan Woods Global Awards 2017 recognises the important role of outstanding international leaders in determining corporate success.
Headquartered in London, United Kingdom with operations based in Malaysia, McMillan Woods Global is an international network of independent local and regional firms of recognised qualified accountants and professional advisors.
With a worldwide network of 40 member firms located across 36 markets worldwide, McMillan Woods Global provides audit assurance, tax advisory and consultancy, as well as financial advisory services.
In 2014, McMillan Woods International President and Awards Founder Dato’ Seri Raymond Liew conceptualised the McMillan Woods Global Awards to acknowledge the achievements and successes of leading business visionaries worldwide, and to also encourage their competitive spirit in overcoming global challenges.
Held on March 24th this year at the Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, the McMillan Woods Global Awards 2017 is a great platform for business networking opportunities among successful entrepreneurs, artistes and corporate leaders, says Liew in a recent interview.
Last year, 32 individuals from around the world received awards for their achievements.
A minimum of 100 nominees are selected by McMillan Woods’ internal Selection team based on news reports, reports by Companies Commission of Malaysia, Securities Commission Malaysia and Bursa Malaysia, corporate websites and personal meetings at networking sessions.
